The thing for which Ohio is most known is that it’s the birthplace of aviation since two Ohioans, Wilbur, and Orville Wright invented the first airplane.

However, another thing for which Ohio is getting more and more popular as time goes on is the many concerts in Ohio by A-list performers. In addition, it’s also a state where many fantastic music festivals get better and better.

Therefore, if you are coming to this state soon, you better check the music festivals we’ll list in this article. Let’s begin.

Table of Contents

  • Wonderstruck Festival
  • Domefest
  • Sonic Temple Festival
  • Dark Star Jubilee
  • Buckeye Country Superfest
  • The Country Fest
  • Duck Creek Log Jam

Wonderstruck Festival

This music festival is one of the most entertaining and exciting ones because it’s not just about music. It’s also about culinary and family aspects since it provides first-class artisan and culinary experiences. In addition, there are also many children’s activities and educational events, which is not an option at most music festivals around the globe.

Wonderstruck 2023 will happen from July 8-9 in Kirtland, and the lineup is still unknown since July is far away. Nevertheless, according to last year’s lineup, one can buy a ticket for this music festival immediately since there are always some great musicians hitting the stage.

Some of the performers who played at the Wonderstruck Festival in the past include The Lumineers, Big Freedia, Vampire Weekend, and others.

Domefest

Domefest is yet another excellent music festival in Ohio that is hosted by Pigeons Playing Ping Pong. Luckily for you, it returns for a weekend of music and camping for three days from May 19-20, 2023.

If you like to see fantastic performances by bands and musicians who are excellent but not highly mainstream, Domefest is the place to be in 2023. The lineup is pretty spectacular since it includes performers such as:

  • Pigeons Playing Ping Pong
  • Tauk
  • Twiddle
  • Magic Beans
  • Barefuzz
  • Chalk Dinosaur
  • Crypto Wave Radio
  • The North 41
  • Houseplant
  • Ernie Johnson from Detroit
  • Joe Hertler & The Rainbow Seekers

Sonic Temple Festival

Sonic Temple Festival is the largest rock festival in the United States, and it happens every year in the most metal of all cities, Columbus, Ohio. Every May, over 60 rock bands gather up the Midwest across three stages over four days, this time from May 25-28, 2023.

In essence, Sonic Temple Festival is a must-stop festival if you enjoy metal and rock music. Also, one of the things that will make this year’s Sonic Temple Festival even more unique is that Foo Fighters is one of the bands that will play this year after the tragic death of the legendary drummer Taylor Hawkins.

Other bands that will play at this music festival in 2023 include Kiss, Deftones, Rob Zombie, Suicidal Tendencies, The Pretty Reckless, Chevelle, Pennywise, Rival Sons, Sleeping with Sirens, Avenged Sevenfold, and many others.

Dark Star Jubilee

Dark Star Jubilee is returning to Thornville every year, and it will be the same in 2023. The Dark Star Orchestra hosts this music festival and will headline each of the three nights.

The rest of the lineup is an excellent mix of musicians reminiscent of classic rock. When it comes to the Dark Star Jubilee Orchestra they are known primarily for their recreation of sets from the Grateful Dead. This music festival is set in the Legend Valley in Thornville, so if you attend this festival, you will also be surrounded by wonderful landscapes.

The 2023 edition of this festival will happen from May 26-28, and aside from the Dark Star Jubilee Orchestra, the lineup also includes performers such as Sam Bush, The Wailers, Cabinet, The Ark Band, Yam Yam, and others. If you are considering the best time to buy concert tickets in Ohio 2023, the time is now, especially for this music festival!

Buckeye Country Superfest

Of course, music festivals in Ohio wouldn’t be as good without a country music festival, and one of the best is the Buckeye Country Superfest. This music festival will happen on May 27, 2023, and the location is Columbus.

Even though it’s only one day, at the same time, this is what makes this music festival unique since you get everything at once, and it’s incredible to see many A-list performers in one day. This year’s lineup includes fantastic names from the country music scene, including Chris Stapleton, George Strait, Warren Zeiders, and Little Big Town.

They are all amazing, especially Chris Stapleton, whose path goes from an engineer to a country music legend.

The Country Fest

Another music festival that’s perfect if you love country music it’s The Country Fest. And what makes this music festival even better is that it provides the ultimate country fan experience with exciting live shows, camping, and swimming.

It happens in North Lawrence, Ohio, and this year’s edition takes place from June 14-17. Unlike Buckeye, this country music festival lasts four days, so it’s a different experience. Also, the 2023 lineup is more than impressive since you will have the opportunity to see performers such as:

  • Jon Pardi
  • Sam Hunt
  • Chase Rice
  • Lauren Alaina
  • Cooper Alan
  • Ernest

If you want to see these performers live and many others, now is the time to buy tickets before it’s too late!

Duck Creek Log Jam

The 2023 Duck Creek Log Jam lineup is still unknown, but you can already search for where to buy cheap concert tickets online since this music festival is more than impressive.

Why?

Because it’s a part music festival and part classic camping trip set in the Hocking Hills in Ohio, one of the most scenic regions in the United States, Duck Creek provides one of the most family-owned, genuine, off-the-beaten-path, and small-by-design music festival experiences ever.Ohio

Of course, the main music genres you will enjoy at this music festival are bluegrass and Americana music.

There you have it; these are some of the best Ohio music festivals you should attend in 2023 if you are coming to Ohio. We wish you a great time with your best friends and thousands of others!

Running a Trucking Business Shouldn’t Mean Drowning in Paperwork If you have ever felt like you spend more time behind a desk than behind the wheel, you are not alone. A trucking company should run freight, make customers happy, and grow the business. But the day often feels consumed by forms, filings, and deadlines, creating a pre-exhausting atmosphere. Here’s the good news: trucking business paperwork doesn’t have to control your time or your energy. With the right systems in place and the right partner by your side, you can finally put an end to worrying about compliance and focus on the road ahead. Let’s dive in: Why Paperwork Feels Like the Hardest Part of Trucking Paperwork isn’t the fun part of running a trucking business. But it’s also not something you can ignore. Miss one filing deadline or forget one document, and suddenly you are looking at penalties, late fees, or worse, trucks stuck on the sidelines when they should be on the road. It’s not just about compliance either. Too much paperwork slows down growth. Every hour you spend figuring out forms is an hour you’re not booking new clients, optimizing routes, or taking care of your drivers. That hidden cost adds up faster than you think. The Pile of Paperwork You are Dealing With Running a trucking company means juggling more than just deliveries. There’s a full lineup of documents you need to handle: Permits and licensing – Every truck and every route comes with its own set of requirements. DOT and USDOT Filings – Staying compliant with federal and state laws is essential. You can always check the FMCSA official site for details on registration and compliance. Taxes – From corporate tax to quarterly filings to fuel taxes for truckers, the list never seems to end. IFTA reporting – Forgetting this one can land you in some serious trouble. Accounting and Invoices – Drivers need to be paid, clients need to be billed, and records need to be accurate and up-to-date. Insurance paperwork – Renewals, coverage updates, liability… the list goes on. That’s a lot to manage, and it’s no wonder many owners feel like trucking business paperwork takes over their entire schedule. How Personal Truck Services Has Your Back Here’s where you stop drowning and start driving. Personal Truck Services exists for one reason: to take the weight of paperwork off your shoulders. They don’t just help with one thing; they cover all the paperwork sides of your trucking business: Permits and licensing → From truck permits to Canada permits, they’ve got you covered. Taxes and compliance → Whether it’s IFTA, 2290, corporate tax, or fuel taxes for truckers, they handle it so you don’t have to. Trucking accounting services → They’ll keep your books in order and your invoices running smoothly. DOT assistance → Need a USDOT number, audit prep, or help with filings? Done. Think of it this way: while you are concentrating on your fleet, your drivers, and your customers, they are in the background making sure every form, every renewal, and every tax gets filed accurately on time, and no more late-night paperwork sessions. More Innovative Ways to Handle Trucking Business Paperwork The mystery isn’t to work harder, it’s to work smarter. Here are a few approaches to lighten the weight: Go digital – Stacks of paper inside the glovebox? Not anymore. Use cloud garage and apps to organize everything in one location. Automate the boring stuff – Recurring tasks like fuel tax filing or renewals can be set up on autopilot. Outsource what you don’t enjoy – If paperwork isn’t your thing and let’s be honest, it isn’t for most truckers, hand it off to people who actually like it. Set clear reminders – Deadlines creep up fast. A simple calendar alert can save you thousands in late fees. Keep it simple – Don’t overcomplicate your process. Stick to systems that actually make your life easier. What Is Actually Holding You Back? Outsourcing paperwork sounds excellent, but it costs too much. Here’s the reality: one penalty or one compliance mistake often costs way more than outsourcing ever would. Or maybe you’re worried about losing control. But with Personal Truck Services, you’re still the boss. You keep oversight, and they handle the details. It’s like having an admin team without hiring in-house staff. And if you are a small operation? That’s precisely when outsourcing makes the most sense. The earlier you establish effective systems, the easier it is to scale without being overwhelmed by forms later. Conclusion: Drive More, Stress Less At the end of the day, your trucking business should be about hitting the road, growing your client base, and keeping your fleet moving, not getting planted in files and deadlines. Trucking business paperwork will always be part of the job, but it doesn’t have to feel like the job. That’s where Personal Truck Services steps in. From permits to DOT filings to fuel tax reporting, they handle the hard stuff so you don’t have to. Don’t let paperwork keep you parked. Let Personal Truck Services take care of the details so you can focus on what you do best: keeping your wheels turning and your business moving forward.
