Drug addiction comes in many levels, and these levels have different and specific ways to solve them as well. There are 5 basic levels of drug addictions and the treatments that should be offered to them. Some people are mild addicts, some are moderate addicts, and some are to a level that is very hard to come out of—that is the severe level of addiction. These three levels are further classified into 5 levels that many drug addicts are told about during their drug addiction checkup at numerous Denver detox centers. Regardless of what level of addiction a person is going through, drug rehab facilities have all the right services to make sure the person heals from their drug addiction and goes back to living their life how they used to.

Many people are not aware of how to identify their level of addiction, and this is an important thing, people that have severe addiction are sometimes not in the right mind to process something like this, so people that have mild to moderate addiction, or people that are trying to help a drug addict come out of their addiction and want to know what level they are on, then this will help you determine that suggested by Symetria.

5 levels of drug addictions and their solutions.

Level 0.5: This level is called “early intervention” level. Early intervention is a service that comes up to people that are known to just about have started their drug addiction, that are in the earliest stages. They are advised to not go past more than their prescription or are told to deflect any acts that might make their addiction turn into mild addiction. This early intervention happens to people that are at a risk of developing something they or their loved ones might regret.

Level I: This level is called “outpatient treatment”. Outpatient treatment is subjected to people with mild addiction levels for an hour, a few days week. Basically, their lifestyle is accessed and they are taught to do things a certain way that might avoid them from things that cause them to use drugs. Their behavioral issues are checked and are solved. The patients are taught skills, hobbies, and are subjected to a one-on-one counselling with a medical health professional to help them better understand their state of self and about the drugs that they are using excessively.

Level II: This is called “intensive outpatient treatment”. Similar to outpatient treatment, specific hours in a day are used to treat the patient over a week throughout months and they are even given 24-hour access to medical support at the Denver detox centers. The treatment given is intense as compared to outpatient treatment program, the medical staff helps in vocational training to take their mind off the drug addiction.

Level III: This is called “inpatient treatment”. It is basically a 24-hour treatment for an indefinite period of time where the patient is given extreme medical care and is put into the rehab facility to live there. The withdrawal symptoms are very hard to combat for people that have severe addiction, which is why they are given treatment around the clock. They are also given medical detox incase the addiction is not going away and the withdrawal symptoms are still there.

Level IV: This is called “intense inpatient treatment”. This is an intense form of inpatient treatment program, now instead of just nurses and councilors treating the patient, psychiatrists are brought into the fold to cater to the patient. Higher form of medical detox is administered to gradually take the patient off of the drugs that they are addicted to.

These are all 5 levels of addiction that have numerous treatments subjected to them at all the Denver detox centers.
