What is DevOps? DevOps combines two separate functions of software engineering: development and operations. DevOps is the connection between people, products, and processes. Also, DevOps is the link between IT processes and business.

Managed DevOps (DevOps as a Service) is the development management. This means a data transfer service for users from all over the world with the maximum content download speed.

DevOps – a common platform for development and operations

Development: The infrastructure you need to bring development together, from asset sharing to writing code and algorithms for enterprise applications that can take advantage of cutting-edge capabilities such as AI/ML, containers, and serverless features. In addition, testing, archiving, bug tracking, and other important tasks are performed during the development phase on the way to launch. Various tools are used for development, the most common ones are Git for code registration, Github or actively developing Bitbucket for managing code repositories.

Operations: After the application is deployed, it’s time for the operational part, that is, solving business problems related to cloud platforms. This phase addresses issues such as user security, database management, scalability for production workloads, and application patching. The following tools are often used during the operational phase: Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, and Chef to manage infrastructure and configurations.

In most organizations, the development and operations functions are separated into different departments. To support both functions, the infrastructure must be flexible, agile and scalable, and developers and operators/system administrators must have common access to security and quality assurance inputs and integrations.

The result is an efficient model that allows you to maximize the use of resources while working at an increasingly fast pace of the software development life cycle, which is becoming increasingly difficult to maintain within the traditional software development model. Ultimately, an effective DevOps model allows companies to fix problems, scale user growth, and better serve customers by accelerating the development and iteration of software products.

Do you need a reliable DevOps managed service provider?

How DevOps accelerates product development?

Over the past twenty years, the business has gradually moved towards integrating software into just about every element—finance, entertainment, consumer usage, supply chains, and more. Tight integration of software and data is performed for each of these functions, and as this integration becomes more popular, performance and reliability issues become more pressing. One bug or accessibility issue can negatively impact a huge number of users and possibly prevent millions of dollars in revenue.

With increased speed, DevOps opens up new opportunities to improve quality and reliability. In terms of operation, smaller and more frequent updates provide more stability, which improves the overall user experience.

Flexible resources, automation, and the ability to support the full software development lifecycle mean the infrastructure is ready to scale as needed. Because scaling affects so many different elements, a holistic view of technology helps you efficiently scale everything from resource management to patching.
