COVID-19 RELIEF FUND.
With the sharp increase of COVID-19 cases, workplaces, public gathering spaces, and schools across the US remain shut down.
With more than 25 million jobs being threatened, this has resulted in most people either losing their jobs or having their work hours greatly reduced. This is leading to lost income and massive reductions in families’ incomes, making it extremely difficult for people to cover basic expenses, including food, healthcare, and education, and many others have lost loved ones or suffered serious health effects due to COVID-19.
Fashion Nova Cares teamed up with American rapper Cardi B to launch an initiative aimed to assist people who are affected by the pandemic.
From April 8 to May 20, Fashion Nova Cares with Cardi B donated $1 million in 42 days, paid in $1,000 checks, to individuals in dire need of assistance.
During those 42 days, they were giving away $1,000 every hour to 1,000 families across the United States and in countries including the United Kingdom, Japan, Chad, Asia, Bulgaria, China, Denmark, Kenya, and Nigeria. These donations were aimed to help offset financial burdens caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
With this philanthropic act, Fashion Nova Cares with Cardi B helped a lot of people worldwide solve their financial burdens, provided help for sick and incapacitated people, single mothers, and those who had lost their jobs.
