WrestleMania 39
The 70,000-capacity stadium will be hosting WrestleMania 39 on the weekend of the 1st and 2nd of April, and the event promises to be a must-see. Vince McMahon’s mega money wrestling promotion has built up their Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns as an unstoppable monster. He hasn’t been pinned or submitted in over three years and has held the Universal Championship for over 900 days. Many expect that at WrestleMania, his reign of terror may come to an end, with both Cody Rhodes and Sami Zayn being built up by the company as potential successes to Reigns’ throne.
His potential downfall is something that has to be witnessed in person.
Las Vegas Grand Prix
Between 2008 and 2011, Formula One couldn’t even muster up one Grand Prix stateside. In 2023 however, thanks to the success of Netflix’s Drive To Survive docuseries, there will be three.
The Miami Grand Prix takes place in May, while the United States Grand Prix from Austin’s Circuit of the Americas takes place in October.
A month later the world will witness the first-ever Las Vegas Grand Prix, and the race promises to be an unforgettable spectacle. Formula One’s 20 speedsters will blast around the streets of Las Vegas, passing all the landmarks that made the Nevada city famous. And to make matters even more impressive, they will do so under the lights, with the race set to take place during the evening.
Max Verstappen is the current reigning back-to-back World Champion, however with Ferrari and Lewis Hamilton’s Mercedes both gunning for glory this season, we could genuinely see a three-team battle for victory in Vegas.
